It's Chriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiistmaaaaaaassssssss.

So school and work had finished for everyone. So we packed up the car and headed for Norfolk. Our first port of call was Sheringham.

Nanny Rachel took us for a lovely coffee in a new cafe down by the seafront.

We had to make an emergency purchase of a new stocking (we'd left the old one at home).

As is traditional, we took a look at the seaside. A very brief look.

Then we headed off to Hainford.

The were cuddles with Papa.

And snuggles with Nana.

Wrapping paper was recycled into the latest chic couture.

And one prezzie kept Lily cosy while she stayed up late.

On to Lingwood.

We said hello to Jim and Maureen.

And enjoyed our Christmas Eve party.

Lily cuddled up to young* Thomas.

Before we knew it, it was Christmas morning. Have you read Daddy's shirt?

The new stocking worked (phew!).

There was a pile of presents from Mummy and Daddy.

Naturally, Lily got stuck in.

Nanny Rachel joined us mid morning.

Just in time for lunch.

How's that for a showstopper pudding?

There were a lot of presents involving make up this year.

Happy Christmas, lovely girls.

As these pictures prove, we've been doing Christmas in Norfolk for a few years now...

Lily gave Russell one last goodbye hug.

And we came home to our own cat.

We enjoyed a little festive supper at our new breakfast bar.

Lily put her present to the test. A science test, in fact.

Sadly, we were all a bit under the weather. Our plans for a big New Year's Eve get together were scuppered and Mummy's sign proved to be somewhat prophetic.

Between the three of us, we still managed to have a nice time at home. There were balloons...

...and party poppers.

Lily glammed up.

And we all, uh, wore moustaches.

There was confetti EVERYWHERE.

We saw the New Year in playing Auld Lang Syne on kazoos.

That's the end of 2018. Happy 2019 everyone.
