Wrapping up.

As November shifted into December, we all got even busier. Lily worked on her homework in our new kitchen.

And worked on fitting this hot dog in.

It was definitely hat and coat weather.

Fur coats, for some.

Our kitchen got nearer to being finished. Mummy (and occasionally Daddy) also worked on stripping the downstairs ceilings.

There was still quite a bit left to do...

Lily drew Mummy and Daddy as superheroes.

But then, we went from this...

...to this.

And everyone enjoyed exploring our new home.

We love Leigh Lights every year.

Mummy and Lily watched the parade.

Then Daddy joined from work for our traditional Henry Burgers street food.

Here's a pretty girl at the celebrations.

This year's advent calendar was make-up instead of chocolate. Someone's growing up.

Speaking of getting older, Lily tried on Daddy's reading glasses.

Tree time!

Mummy and Lily did a lovely job of decorating it.

Followed by a lovely job of decorating the dining room.

We welcomed our first guests in our new kitchen - Dave and Jackie Morris.

Dave is Daddy's old advertising tutor. He's a tall gentleman.

We took them to the seafront (whether they wanted to go or not).

Let's rock.

Lily shows Daddy how. Note Mummy's new neon sign in the background.

That's the one.

Then on Daddy's last day at work, Mummy and Lily came into London.

We had hot chocolate...

...then we got our skates on.

Once again, the ice rink had come to the Tower of London.

Here's a fab picture of Lily skating at sunset.

We had a super time.

Mummy and Lily both took a bit of a tumble. Daddy managed to stay on his feet throughout, thanks to his superior balancing techniques (pictured below).

And just to finish before Christmas, something that was only just finished before Christmas.
