The year seemed to flash past. But when you look back, there were loads and loads of adventures that seem so long ago. Like the start of a new company...
Lily took on the guise of Marceline.
And Cruella.
She turned ten years old.
Then led her partygoers through the streets, dancing all the way home.
We took a trip to Legoland.
Home Glasto gets bigger every year.
We went back to Harry Potter World.
And enjoyed the Village Green Festival together as a family for the first time.
Lily's staircase got a rainbow makeover.
So did her hair.
She won not one but TWO Blue Peter Badges.
In September, Lily was ready for her final year of junior school.
We splashed around in a waterpark.
We rubbed shoulders with the rich and famous.
A fantastic new summer house appeared at the bottom of the garden (and we even spent a night in it).
Lily got the bug for hunting down hidden painted stones.
She watched a helicopter land right overhead in the park.
For Roald Dahl Day, she even grew four extra limbs.
Lily studied hard and sat her Eleven Plus (not to mention scouting out a range of High Schools to attend).
She developed an interest in playing football.
And solving crime.
She became a girl Ghostbuster for the night.
We all spent a couple of days in Brighton.
Lily was part of a medal winning sports team.
We enjoyed Leigh Lights.
But were very sad to say goodbye to Charlie.
Mini Christmas brought snow.
Mummy made another showstopper dress for the Strictly Final.
Then at the carol concert, Lily sang and played in the orchestra.
There was ice skating at the Tower of London.
Followed by our first ever Christmas in Essex (which was brilliant).
Lily even stayed up until 1:20am to make the most of the the very last day. Top that, 2018!
