October. Ooh. Ha! Yeah!

Many thanks to Alex Turner for providing this month's post title. But worth celebrating even more than the new Arctic Monkeys album, it was Mummy's birthday.

Just check out the amazing job Lily did of decorating our home made birthday cake.

Hmm, looks familiar...

Here's a lovely photo to commemorate the occasion. Though this one is my personal favourite

Lily went to quite a few more parties.

And here she is getting a bit more practice in at the school music room. You'll see why in a bit...

But first, a different gig. This is us queueing up at the UEA - a venue Mummy and Daddy hadn't been to in thirty years...

First thing Lily did was buy a T-shirt. Times have changed - the line for merch stretch right the way back through the venue. But the bar was barely two customers deep!

We'd come to see Beabadoobee. Recommended, but only if you want to.

Daddy in his Motorhead shirt. On the way in, the security guard commented, 'Wrong night mate...'

The day after, it was Lily's turn on stage. Kryptonics second headline gig. And another phenomenal performance.

The crowd were lovin' it.

I thought the drummer was supposed to prop up the band, not the other way around.

And there's the promise of more to come, at a bigger venue.

Chillin' on her Insta, yeah?

If you're gonna carpet, Carpet Right.

Don't worry, she didn't buy it.

Mummy went for a well deserved extra celebration with Mrs Parker. So we took the opportunity to hold Nugfest - with a screening of a scary movie and ALL the chicken nuggets.

The right guitar to play 'Ma Nah Ma Nah' according to Lily.

River Green, baby.

This was Lily's costume for her first Halloween party. While she definitely had a character in mind, to those less familiar with the Marvel Universe, she appears to have gone dressed as her Dad.

Still had a good time though.

Of course, there's another birthday this month. The cats turned three.

As you can see, Dee Dee was delighted with the fuss we made.

Halloween costume take two.

This is a bit more like it...

...though not much like the last time she tried it.

The gang's all ready for Trick Or Treating.

Imagine this lot turning up at your door...
