Ahoy August.

 Girls gotta shop.

We dropped in on Nana and Papa.

Then headed off to our amazing holiday houseboat on the Broads.

Lily turned out to be pretty good at rowing.

You want to wear the Captain's hat? Only the Captain can wear the hat.

We enjoyed the surrounding countryside. No bull.

Been a while since Daddy last had to push her on the swings.

Back home, Lily fitted in some killer TV.

And hung out at Adventure Island.

Laura and Benjy came for a visit.

Which meant water fights...

... and a roller disco.

You gotta roll with it.

Mummy and Lily visited Yayoi Kusama's interactive Obliteration Room at the Tate Modern.

The space started out as pristine white. But the idea is visitors turn it into a work of art by placing coloured stickers wherever they like.

I see what they did there.

Quick stop off after for a Tesco meal deal with Daddy.

Then on to the Picadilly Waterstone's, which had a special Heartstopper display. With what we learned was an inferior neon sign to Lily's...

Uh oh. Looks like they got caught in a storm.

The platter that matters.

Lily got to Be Real with Edith.

Then we finally made it to Southsea to visit Trevor, Garth, Nelly and Dudley ( who chose to be in the background).

That's Lily in front of the Portsmouth coast.

Maureen and Jim came to stay for a couple of days.

Then we finished off the Bank Holiday with the Arctic Monkeys playing in our shed.

Lots of adventures all round. And that's the end of the 2022 summer holidays. Which can only mean that Lily is about to enter her last year of high school...
