Marching onstage.

Off to a flippin' good start.

Cheese and ham to start with, then a nutella one for dessert.

It was always going to happen. Her friends finally drove her to drink.

Lily's latest commission. A 'street art' Peter Rabbit (that earned her a nice little pile of new books).

The weather turned nice enough to start using the garden bar again.

We settled in with popcorn to screen the latest Disney Plus movie...

...Red Panda.

Dear Lord, she looks cool here. And good that she's getting some practice in...

...because the school covers band took to the stage at The Palace Theatre.

They performed an amazing set of rock covers.

Lily had a massive bass sound and played really well.

Fancy fretwork was matched with equally fancy footwork.

If you want to hear how it sounded:

I cannot begin to tell you how much sugar there is in that slush.

The ducks always head straight for Lily (remember Christmas?).

A quick group hug.

Lily really enjoyed spending a little time at River Green.

She even laid claim to her very own 'Rory Gilmore' tree.

The pace of life is a little slower.

Ahh, and here's a lovely fluffy Spring lamb. No wait, it's Russell.

And this is Benedict, the devilled egg. He's been on lots of adventures in Lily's pocket.

We treated Mummy to breakfast in bed and some new plants.

You can tell Emma's an amazing Mummy because Lily is an amazing daughter.

And even the cats showed a little appreciation. For once.
