Next, we fitted in several weekend adventures, heralded by an envelope containing an activity that arrived on the dining table every Thursday night. Our first was converting the shed into an American style diner:

We did end up making the world's smallest snowman...
As a special treat, Lily and Mummy did drive through Starbucks.

Special Valentine's Day breakfast.
Lily chose the shirt. Because she likes the music. I could never have imagined this, twenty five years ago when I bought mine.
Pancake Day..
As a half term project, Mummy and Lily put down a new floor in the loft.
Naturally, they had helpers.
The finished result looks fab.
So we celebrated with a Chinese floor picnic.

Another weekend activity. We had a go at 'sleeveface' photos. And I reckon they turned out pretty well.

More art. This time, Lily's entry for Grayson's Art Club, around the theme of family. Lily depicted us as the three flying ducks that have always been on our wall.
We've been going on some lovely lunchtime walks. It's been cold, but sunny with lovely blue skies. Lily stops every now and then to take an arty snap.

And one final event for the month. We decided to have a 'Winter Barbecue' in the dark, with a fire pit and blankets.
