Right at the start of the month is Mummy's birthday. So Lily and Daddy attempted to make a cake.
Lily did most of the work - which is probably why it turned out so well.
Pretty sure Mummy was pleased with it.
And for a present, Mummy wanted some new plants. So we masked up and headed for a garden centre.
We found quite a few nice ones, which we wrestled home in the car.

The school asked for nominations of inspirational teachers. Lily named her art teacher, on a palette.

Lily saw the film Moonrise Kingdom and was inspired to recreate the lead character's look.
Now here's a treat. For a special Sunday lunch, we ate Drive-In McDonald's. Traditional roast beef(burger).

Mummy had to go on a bridal mission, so we hung out with all the cool kids in Costa.
Lily's painting skills are developing so well that her teacher suggested trying oils.

Bake Off threw us a bit of a curveball with Japanese Week. But this is a very tasty Japanese Cheesecake, decorated with a cherry blossom tree.
No trick or treating this year. But Lily still had plans for these pumpkins.
She drssed up as Eleven from Stranger Things (note the bats in the background).
The scariest thing about Halloween was probably the weather we braved for some last minute treats.
One last note. These two were actually born on October the 29th last year. So we had a little celebration for them with a tuna cake, presents and a card.
