Like the rest of the UK, we spent the whole of April staying at home. Lily wore a rainbow shirt to show we're all in this together.
Home schooling continued. Lily set up her desk to work on her online lessons, despite some disruptive classmates.
For no reason at all, we spent a Saturday night dressing up as our favourite bands (which went down very well on social media).
Then in what would have been the Easter holiday, Lily turned her attention from schoolwork to giving her room a makeover.
Aaand of course, there were helpers.
Here's the finished result. It's like a New York loft apartment - although New York was a bit of a touchy subject...
We had some nice weather, so we made the most of all being home for lunch.
Lily made us dinner, all by herself.
The following Saturday, we grabbed the dressing up box again, this time for TV shows. If you ask me, Lily is ASTONISHING as Richard Hammond.
Easter Sunday, Mummy made a very special breakfast. See that bow tie...?
...it was actually the first in a series of clues for the traditional Easter egg hunt.
Culminating in the traditional chocolate mountain.
Another week, another project. This time, to pimp up the tiny landing at the top of the spiral staircase.
Lily got hands on with the power tools.
And created a lovely chillout corner. You'll never guess who was first to chill out in it.
As hinted earlier, we were supposed to be in New York this month. Because that was no longer possible, Mummy laid on a fabulous New York supper.
We had a brilliant night, with burgers, fries and flags.

We had a grocery delivery, so we celebrated with steak, chips and cocktails.
Lily learnt a new skill and got into makrame.
Then it was Daddy's big birthday.
It was fantastic, with Lily hand drawing a design for some wrapping paper, a showstopper of a homemade cake and a picnic lunch in the garden.
Then the shed was transformed into the best curry house in town for homemade biryani (which is the best curry in town).
Despite everything else going on and the fact our big trip got cancelled, I can't imagine a better way to spend a birthday.
Again, we're very lucky to have a lovely home to spend all this time in.
And Mummy has made sure the garden is a wonderful place to get some fresh air.
Finally, Mummy and Lily have sewn some prototype facemasks, which might come in handy as we start to head back out in the world soon.
