Just before Christmas week, we went to visit Nanny Rachel in Sheringham.

We warmed up with a coffee in our new favourite cafe.
Lily enjoyed a Christmas Dinner at her school.
Then she got to go on an exciting trip to see The Nutcracker in London.
When school broke up, Lily celebrated with a little house party.
One of her presents was the key to 221b Baker Street.
One Saturday morning, we saw an advert for these two. We went to meet them, ironically in Barking. Then counted down the days until we could collect them and bring them home.
We all went to see the new Star Wars movie.
Then packed up ready to head off to Norfolk again.

Christmas morning was spent at Jim and Maureen's. There was a big pile of prezzies to rip into.
So rip in she did.

New hat, new top, new bag. She's tren-day now.
We had a lovely Christmas lunch together.
Then set off around the village to walk it off.
Who then decided to follow us everywhere.
All dressed up for Christmas Night.
Boxing Day, we headed to Jack and Suzie's. Lily met Marshall and played cars with him.
On Friday, we headed home - stopping off to pick up our two new family members. The white one is Ziggy and the tabby is his sister Dee Dee.
They settled right in and started playing straight away.

Ziggy helped Lily out with her homework.
Then Rachel joined us for New Year's. We had several courses...
Then ending almost as we began, it was back down to the seafront.
Not as windy as Sheringham, but definitely colder. Though this time, instead of coffee, we went for massive ice creams on The Broadway.
