December, far from wrapped up.

Having been such  good girl at school, Lily was rewarded with a pilgrimage to Typo in Lakeside. Because we were getting a bit low on stationery. (We really weren't.)

Lily and Mummy wrapped up warm for Leigh Lights.

Her little Ibanez is starting to get a bit small. So Lily tried out a couple of other basses we, uh, happen to have lying around. She tried a Rickenbacker and a Fender Jazz...

...but fell in love with this black and white Flea bass. So it's hers now. She rocks it better than Daddy ever did.

Second week of December was our traditional 'Mini Christmas'. We went out and picked a tree.

Then all helped to carry it back through the (almost summery) streets.

Nearly home.

Daddy put on Christmas records while Mummy and Lily did a super job of putting up the decorations.

Halfway through, they decided to decorate themselves for a trip out to buy more fairy lights.

And ta-daaah!

Then we had a little turkey tray bake with roasties and stuffing and a present each.

A couple of days later, Lily came into London for a special treat.

Mummy had got us all tickets to go to the Friendsfest, which had recreated all the sets and props from the series.

So we got to sit on the sofa.

And explore the apartments.

Here's Lily in front of Monica's cupboards.

Looks like the dog didn't 'accidentally fall off' the removals van after all.

We'll be there for you.

All together now - 'Smelly, cat, sm-ell-lly caaat...'

We even visited a special grotto...

...and met the famous Holiday Armadillo.

Then Lily dressed up smart for a very special performance of her own.

She played bass in the school rock covers band at the Christmas Concert. And absolutely smashed it. Lily Boo, you rawk!

And this was just the first week or so of December. Still some big Christmas posts to follow, so much has been happening this year.
