Pancake Day.
Jim and Maureen came to see our new kitchen. We all went for a day out in Chelmsford.
They liked eating at the new breakfast bar.
Lily taught Nanny to floss.
We had Sunday lunch in the old dining room. But more about that later.
There was a really blustery day. And Lily was nearly blown away in the garden.
One of the best bits about Lily getting older is she can start to look after us now. This is an amazing risotto she made us for an evening meal.
Everyone needs to doze off now and again.
So we've had Adventure Time. We've had Doctor Who. The latest craze is Stranger Things. Lily went to a party where one of the activities was creating a T-shirt. Lily made this fantastic drawing of the cast.
Here's the finished thing.
A school homework was to make a cardboard ukulele.
The Atkins family came round for the evening. I say evening, it turned into morning as we were all still up at 4am.
So, about that dining room. We had the boys back to remove the old, central radiator and replace it with a skinny upright one.
This allowed mummy to create a full length cosy seating area right the way along the wall.

Disaster struck - literally - when a stone pinged up from the lawnmower and shattered one of our patio doors.
Speaking of stones, it was time for the annual Bee Line.
Here's a load Lily made specially for the occasion.
We walked down to the seafront and added them to the collection.
There were already over 500 by the time we arrived.
It was such a lovely day, we had a picnic lunch on the beach.
Mummy and Lily went home via the park.

And of course, the last day of the month was Mothers' Day. We think Lily has the best Mummy in the world ever, so there were presents, roast chicken for lunch and a spa bath in the afternoon. We love you Mummy xxx
