Things weren't off to a great start when Lily had to come home from school because she was poorly sick.
But the Doctor made sure she soon felt better.

Valensday Time rolled around again. Looks like someone loves Lily very much.

She's got a place on the plane. This month, we all got to fly to Milan together.
The weather fell right for us and we had an amazing time.
Within an hour of landing, we were sipping wine on the hotel balcony.
While Daddy was at the college, Mummy and Lily set off to see the sights. Here they are at the Duomo (we'll literally come back to that later).
As is tradition, lily stamped on the bull's peanuts.
And there's Sforza castle.
Next day, they hopped on a train (with Bunny).
And went to Venice!
The roads were a bit wet.

They kept on going into the evening.
Fortunately, they had a lovely room to collapse in after.
Next morning, things were a little foggy.
Fortunately, it cleared up just in time for a gondola ride.

All together again, we headed back to the Duomo for a family day out.

Well, we jumped in the elevator and walked all round them.
This is the roof of the Duomo. You can walk all around it and it's breathtaking.

We went inside too, where there are hundreds of phenomenal stained glass panes.
Next day, we headed out to the National Science and Technology Museum.
It has an extensive collection of Leonardo Da Vinci's work and inventions.
It was pretty fascinating stuff.
And a really cool section about space travel.
In that little sphere is a genuine piece of the moon.
She's in there somewhere.
Sadly, this phone box turned out not to be any bigger on the inside.
The recycling section was just rubbish.
The museum itself is an amazing building, with beautiful cloistered garden.
They're walking sculptures made of plastic piping.
Parked outside was a submarine.
We had a fab time in the museum, then headed off for a picnic in the nearby park. Stopping off for a photo opportunity.
Our travels just happened to take us back to the shopping district. It's worth clicking on this photo to read what Daddy just spotted on the T-shirt.
It's a perfect fit.
