So then. High School.
She was going and nothing could stop her (not even a spot of rain).
And how was it?
Lily still manages to catch up with friends who are going to different schools.
How's this for a cool party dress?
There'll be much more about this soon - but here she is checking out the building work.
Sammy had a look too. I think she's trying to find her bowl that's no longer where it used to be. In a room that's not even there anymore.
Fortunately, Lily is there to comfort her.
Everyone* is lending a hand (*not Daddy).
The workers deserve a little pampering.
It's party season again.
Lots of Lily's friends are turning 12.
The perfect excuse to head to Adventure Island.
Mummy and Daddy snuck off to see Arctic Monkeys.
As part of her homework, Lily was tasked to prepare and cook a meal.
She made the dish 'Masterchef Challenge' style, back to back with Daddy.
Very nice it was too. Better still, the homework specified she needed to wash up after.
She seems to be growing more every day. Which means her Finn and Jake T-shirt actually fits now.
Speaking of Adventure Time, check out her cool sketch of Marceline.
And speaking of Marceline, here's Lily getting down to some serious bass practice.
Chill girl iz chilled.
How about this - a third Blue Peter badge. And the coveted Diamond one no less.
We went back to Roots Hall to cheer on the mighty Southend Utd.
Her good luck high five may have been the key to their 1-0 victory.
It may have been September, but we still managed to spend an evening or two in the summer house.
But winter is indeed coming.
As we clicked over into October, it was time to celebrate lovely Mummy's birthday.
We enjoyed a fab night out at Henry Burgers.
Happy birthday Mummy.
We had such a nice time, even Daddy almost managed a smile.
This amazing cloud painting is another example of Lily's artistic skills.
Here she is hanging out with some new friends she's made since starting school.
And some old friends.
But she always comes up smiling.
