Big Beach Bang.

One last treat on an 'INSET' day tacked on to the end of half term. We headed into London for a pizza and a movie.

 Here we are on our way to the fireworks display at east beach in Shoeburyness.

The force is strong with this one.

It was a spectacular display, with plenty of oohs... 

...and aahs.

The next day, we headed along the coast in the opposite direction for Sunday lunch in Old Leigh.

Back home, Lily modelled a dress that might one day be altered for her to be the belle of the ball.

Then we finished off the weekend with a last little bit of sparkle.
