At long, long last.

Ended the last two entries by saying where will the next be posted from. Well, after four years of planning, five months of rented accommodation and 16 weeks of buying process, we're here...

Let's go back to the start of the month. The gang snuck over to Cintra for another quick look as we went through week after week of precarious solicitor nonsense. Even then we still weren't sure if it was going to work out.

A cuddle with Ziggy.

A tickle with Russel.

New glasses, new look.

Daddy (briefly) considered a new look too.

Dee Dee found the shadiest spot in the garden.

Ziggy's just mad for it.

All smiles in textiles.

Then on the 10th, we finally received news that we'd exchanged. our move was definitely going to happen. We celebrated with champagne in the garden.

Then that same evening, Emma spotted a happening in the city. Something to do with a giant puppet. Could we be bothered to get up off the sofa and investigate? We could. And we're so glad we did.

Mo and the Red Ribbon was a spectacular performance that took place for an hour and a half across the city centre. It was fab and so was the late night walk home (enjoying a pre mix or two).

Lily hung out with the gang.

I'd say she's definitely fitted right in...

Gotta love the X55.

Taylor last month. Now Billie, with what Lily believes to be 'the best album ever made'.

Quick Friday shopping trip with Jim and Maureen.

Then it was time to pack. Ziggy was ready to go.

Mummy hired a van (and drove it brilliantly).

We headed to the estate agent to pick up the keys.

Then over to the doorstep.

And we were home.

The rear garden is wild in every sense.

Have a feeling this room will look very different by the end of the year.

I think he likes the view. Both cats certainly seem to like how quiet it is here.

There was quite a bit to do to get our rental house spick and span after we left.

But then we could make a start on our new house.

The neighbours are friendly.

Lily met up with her friends.

And, bizarrely, Daddy's. Colin and I went to Paston back in 1986 and he's lived in North Walsham ever since. Never dreamed one day such a thing could happen where a girl walks in to his shop and says 'Hello, I'm Jason Cascarina's daughter...'

Ziggy's desperate to be allowed out on his own.

He might even make some new friends too...

Lily's May.
