One Saturday, Lily popped out to see a friend. And when she returned, the whole downstairs had been transformed.
Mummy turned the whole of the front room into our very own Bowling Alley.

It was fab. We played quite a few frames but there were only a few strikes.
Naturally, there was special food available. These are Lava Fries (thank you Keviiiiiiiinnnnnn).

As if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, Mummy wanted to try out the Neon Stick Man Dance. Basically, you stick fluorescent glow sticks onto to dark clothing then switch the lights out. Which turns you from this...

Lily went out for a socially distanced visit with Edith and... friend.
For once, Dee Dee wasn't enforcing social distancing when it came to cuddles.
Lily's artistic skills have really come on in Lockdown. As well as discovering Bob Ross (possibly more on that next month), she created this painting on canvas.
Then as the (virtual) school year ended, Lily received a fistful of certificates for being a great student.
Believe it or not, this photo was taken at 5am. We'd decided to get up in time to see the sunrise over the Estuary.
And well worth the early alarm it was too.
We packed coffees in Keep Cups and ham and cheese croissants wrapped in tinfoil.
Not to mention a bottle of fizz and some juice. It was an amazing experience and we all loved it (even if it did wipe us out for the rest of the day).
Lily even did a quick sketch of the seafront while we were there.
