Off to Lingwood.
Lily hung out with Nanny Maureen.
And Grandad Jim.
She also had a snuggle with Sammy.
There was a day trip to Tiptree Farm in Essex.
It's where they make the jam. LOTS of jam.
They also went to the aquarium.
Lily and Daddy.
One Sunday afternoon, Lily was a bit bored. Mummy asked if she wanted to make something. Lily thought about decorating a little box. Mummy meant get out the power tools - and they made, painted and wired up a mini reading room under the eaves!
Lily made a splash at the Maldon swimming pool.
Then she got to go on all the scary rides at Thorpe Park.
Look at those happy smiling faces.
Lily picked out some plants for the garden.
And we made the most of the sunshine with a quick walk down to the beach.
The tide was out. Way, way out.
But Mummy and Lily still managed a paddle.
We had visitors and dressed for the occasion. Actually, these two dressed up all night.
Another lovely day, another chance to blow up the pool.
Mummy and Lily came to London to see an exhibition.
It was Mary Quant at the V&A.
Speaking of making an exhibition...
This is cool. And just a little scary. Lily got a fab new hairstyle.
She also made a new shirt.
And bought a new bag.
But first, breakfast.
She chatted books with Dazza and walked across Waterloo Bridge.
Then signed in to get a visitor's pass and headed for the fourth floor.
She worked on an actual brief.
Her ideas were pretty good too (and her scamps were much admired).
She really could be an art director one day.
One final treat. Another day at Adventure Island.
Not entirely sure what's going on here. Some Divergent-based craziness, no doubt.
That's it. That's your lot. Back to school now for the start of year 8...
