The month began with Lily giving an amazing performance onstage at The Palace Theatre. She sang a duet of 'For Good' from Wicked. Sadly, we weren't allowed to take any photos or video. But it was unforgettable and Lily absolutely nailed it.
For World Book Day this year, everyone went to school in pyjamas.
She bought a new football to get some practice in (you'll see why in a minute).

We tried to spoil lovely Mummy on Mothers' Day with presents, home cooked roast lamb, a walk along the beach and a spa bath.

Lily's football team had a big match.
She played in midfield... she played everywhere. And they won 5-1.
Off to school with a bag full of craft materials for the marble run her class was building.

Mummy signed us up for a cool 'real world' murder mystery. We decided to style ourselves after the Death In Paradise detectives. But that weekend, there was a late flurry of snow.
So we found oursleves running around Southend wearing Caribbean clothing in sub zero temperatures. But it was very good fun.
Next day, we were dressed much more appropriately.
Lily took part in an art competition.
And her school was awarded a gold.
We all got dressed up for Nick and Jennifer's wedding.
It was the first time Lily saw Daddy playing in his old band. She made this drawing of us - check out Smiley Dave on the drums.
There were some cool things for the younger guests at the reception.
Including this photo booth. Mummy and Lily had a go.
Lily also jumped in with Felix and Dexter.
Even Daddy joined in.
Then Lily danced till she dropped.
I'm not kidding.
Then we had a big Easter weekend.
Nanny Rachel, Granddad Jim and Nanny Maureen came to spend it with us. We put everyone to work making pizzas.
We all went to the cinema for an Easter film.
Then the bunny himself paid a visit
We'll still be chomping our way through this lot by NEXT Easter!
There was a traditional egg hunt.
And Lily took the spirit of Easter out onto the streets.
Everyone went for a stroll down to the Estuary.
And Lily hid a specially painted Easter egg stone.
We jumped on the 'bullet train' out to the end of Southend Pier.
There was another Easter trail and some craft activities.
It was one of the best Easters ever.
We had one last excursion to Chelmsford and Lily created this special miniature garden to enter into a Tiger store competition.
