Brighton up your holiday.

We packed our cases and set of to the south coast.

We stayed in the Hilton on the seafront. Our room was massive and Lily soon made herself feel at home...

On our first day, we explored  all the weird and wonderful shops in The Lanes.

Lily found a fabulous shop that sold waffles on a stick...

Daddy's photobombing me again, isn't he?

There's the famous Brighton Pavilion.

And here's Lily the Robot saving a Daddy in distress.

We found an American themed diner for our evening meal.

And crowded in for a selfie.

Chips!

It was getting late, but we fancied heading to the pier.

We even had a nighttime paddle in the sea. Whoever heard of sneaking down to the beach late at night?

This towering structure is the British Airways i360 platform. You get in the circular bit and it takes you 450 feet up in the air.

And we decided we were going to go up in it!

So we signed up, and waited for our turn.

This is Lily, about to get in the capsule.

Here we all are, on the way up.

This gives you a pretty good idea of the scale inside the capsule.

She's on top of the world. Well, Brighton.

And we could see for miles and miles and miles and miles...

Somewhere behind us there is Hove.

Half an hour later, we were back on solid ground.

It was time for coffee.

And fresh seafood.

Mummy took this amazing photo of Lily in front of the old pier. Thank you Brighton, we had a lovely break.
