Bye bye Year 5.

Sports day in the park.

Our little girl ran...

...and jumped.

Well done team.

Then it was the annual school fete.

We had sausages from the barbecue.

And Lily got her hair braided.

The choir treated us to another performance.

First they were cuddling...

...then they were throwing wet sponges at each other!

This is a High School. Mummy and Lily have been investigating them - because there's only one year left at primary!

For the first time, we were all able to go to Village Green festival together.

There was hula-ing.

Mummy took Lily on in a battle of the hoops.

We got there quite early before it had filled up.

Say hello to the big dogs.

Hot dog selfie time.

Lily tried her first ever snow cone.

We all had something nice to drink, in fact.

We chilled out in the sun and caught some local bands.

She's a crazy cat.

There was a wonderful little baby owl at the festival too.

From baby owls to a light up flamingo.

Here's Mummy and Lily on our brand new garden storage unit.

Here we are making the most of a sunny day in the garden.

Charlie likes to get in on the act.

In fact, while it was hot, the best way to cool down was with a water balloon fight.

Here's another high school open day.

Lily knew Daddy would approve of the music room...

She even got a quick drumming lesson.
Then it was home for a treat.
We're in the market for a new mattress. Fortunately, we have a helpful young assistant.

This is slime. If anyone can tell me why it's in our house, I'd love to know...

Sometimes, it's the only way to end the day.

Lily borrowed Mummy's phone to take this mid air silhouette.

She's one in a Minion.

Nana Suzie and Papa Jack came for a visit.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch.

Lily's class went down to the beach for an art project.

Just in case you couldn't pick her out from that lot:

Have a look at what a clever girl is wearing on her collar. She earned it from a very well written review that she submitted.

Now here we are. Last day of term. Year 5 went by in a flash. To celebrate, everyone went over to the park.

Goodbye Year 5!

See you all again next term.

Lily made herself a handcrafted Fionna hat (inspired by her new Adventure Time magazine).

She even wore it to play (and win) Adventure Time Munchkin.

Then today, she got all dolled up for Holly's party.

She went out for afternoon tea at a posh restaurant. Fancy! And with that, this year's Summer holiday begins...
