Bank Mini Holiday.

We had a long weekend together. So what's the first thing that comes to mind? That's right, space hoppers.

Note the colour co-ordination between our hoppers and our outfits.

Right then. Let's get bouncing...

We held mini races.

We did freestyle hopping.

And here's the proof. First, Mummy and Lily.
Then Daddy had a go.

We had a great morning and Mummy laughed so much she nearly cried.

Today, we tried out a new paddling pool. I say paddling pool, it was big enough to swim in.

See what I mean?

We had the pool, we had cocktails...

...we had cocktails in the pool.

Essex may not be Barbados, but we still managed to create some of that holiday feeling.

Mingy was with us.

Lily got in a bit of a spin.

She even managed a little bit of snorkelling.

Luncheon was served al fresco.

And of course there was ice cream.

This was our morning in a one-er.

Then this evening we headed from the pool to the sea. Sadly, the sea had headed off towards Kent, but we made the best of it and had a quiet drink.

Well, quiet-ish...

We were treated to a lovely sunset.

Then we made our way home along the beach.

We had a fab weekend together.

And managed to turn a couple of days off into an amazing mini family holiday.
