So we followed our safari with another adventure, this time at Chessington.
Naturally we went on some rides. Like the Scorpion roller coaster.
And the Dragon Falls log flume.
We queued for ages for Bubble Works, but it was jolly enough.
Our hotel was pretty good. The decor featured animals everywhere...
There was even a statue of a giraffe inside. They did actually have some real ones in an enclosure just outside our bedroom window. They were a long way off but we could just make them out every now and again.
Some of the animals here were world famous.
The hotel had a swimming pool, a fun kids' splash pool and a hot spa pool. So we went for an afternoon dip then dressed for dinner.
Lily enjoyed the entertainment, dancing and singing the night away.
Three guesses what she's singing? Let it go, let it gooooo...
Before we left we took a closer look at some of the real animals (and saw three giraffes. though nowhere near as close as they were at Lympne).
Then it was time to get all our belongings back in the car. I'm sure we didn't have this much when we set off...
