Reluctant as I am to knock Barbados off the top spot, there is more to Lily's summer holiday than the Caribbean. Mummy and Lily made this amazing castle.
And who needs flying fish cutters when you can have sausage and chips at the Wimpy?
She may be all about the pink princesses, but Lily still has a touch of the Tomboy now and again.
One of her holiday projects is to write about her family,
With that in mind, here's a picture of Daddy. You can judge for yourselves how accurate it is.
Lily's making fruit kebabs, ready for a picnic in the park...
...with the Bowers boys.
Of course, it wasn't all fruit.
The fair came to town.
First there were smiles. Then there was dizziness and screwed up faces.
Is it a bird? Is it a plane?
Water great time.
It's a barrel of laughs.
And, of course...
Then there was a trip to Kids' Kingdom.
Top of the world.
She's a slippery customer...
Lily got to spend the afternoon in Mummy's shop.
And this is the artist's impression of the secret wonderland of the fitting rooms, seen only by prospective brides.
She even came away with a souvenir.
Next stop, Dino Land!
Here's Nanny Maureen and cousin Daisy.
Proof that dinosaurs were carnivores.
She had a swinging time.
Ride 'em dinosaur cowgirl.
Too cute. Even with that ugly thing in the background.
From Dino Land to Hainford,
Lily dropped in on Papa Jack...
...and Nana Suzie.
There was a day trip to Yarmouth Pleasure Beach.
Log flume ahoy.
Next day saw a lot of monkey business in Norwich.
Leading up to a trip to the Castle Museum.
Princess Lily is on the throne.
Did Daddy choose this magazine by any chance?
All those adventures took their toll...
But she perked up in time to visit Grandad Benny...
,,,and Nanny Rachel.
Mummy and Daddy had treated Lily to a kite.
And by Heavens, it was a hit.
Hot on the heels of a morning on the beach was an afternoon in the Maze.
It was fraught with hazards...
...but Lily managed to make her way to the centre.
Though it wasn't quite as easy getting out again.
After a couple of train rides (to Chelmsford and not, in fact, Colchester) the excitement continued at a bowling alley in Southend.
Very good she was too. Here she is picking up a spare.
All topped off with a barbecue in the garden.
Yum!
