This weekend, a new restaurant opened in Leigh-On-Sea. Lily's Pizzeria, serving the best pizza in town made to a secret recipe cough Nigel Slater's cough.
The chef stretched her base by hand then added select ingredients. (Lily liked Mozzarella and Gruyere but didn't go for Dolce Latte as she though it tasted "like cava".)
An extensive menu offered a choice of 'strong' or 'not strong' pizzas, drinks including apple juice and Diet Coke and a dessert offering of sweeties.
Table for two, please.
The staff offer a very warm welcome.
And it has to be said, the food was ten out of ten.
