Christmas is less than a week away. Lily's sent out her Christmas cards. If you haven't received yours yet, maybe it's in a Royal Mail van on the M5. Under a snowdrift.

Yesterday, Lily went to visit Santa in his grotto.

She whispered in his ear what she wants for Christmas and gave him a big hug.

Lily was given a little present. And as you can see, she was rather taken with the whole experience.

Just to make sure she gets on the good girl list, Lily even sang him a song.
Downstairs, the fun continued with 'stripy boys'.

We actually had a bit of difficulty getting home again. Road conditions were dreadful and buses were few and far between. Fortunately, Lily had emergency rations to hand.

Uncle Jimmy and Aunty Sarah came to visit.

We braved the weather and checked out all the trees at Columbia Road.

After a big snowball fight, we warmed up with an aperitif...

...before turkey pies for a Christmassy Sunday lunch.

And just to end with, here are a couple of shots that didn't get used when we were taking pictures for Lily's Christmas card. Emma had made this fantastic bow and it would be a shame not to show it.
