Today we went to Hackney City Farm. There were chickens in the yard.
And a donkey in the field.
Expecting a sheep pun? Far be it from me to disappoint ewe.
Lily Boo liked the piggy. She shouted "oink oink" at him. He didn't say a lot. Or do a lot, for that matter. He's got the right idea on a Sunday.
The farm also had a lovely garden to walk round.
And a lovely covered seat to rest on after all that exploring.
Then Lily packed up, ready to move on.
We walked from the farm down to the flower market in Columbia Road. Lily's favourite bloom is the Icymus Creamius, "Mr Whippy".
Then it was home to tend her own garden. Lily bought some petunias and a new watering can from B&Q. She's certainly got green fingers. Or at least, she did have when she came home after finger painting at nursery last week.
